You may know that the sexy, 31-year-old Mexican bombshell, model and actress, Barbara Mori will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in the Bollywood movie Kites. Now watch a video introduction of Barbara Mori, whose on-screen and off-screen romance with Hrithik has been subject of much of gossip in glossies. Some claim that it is a publicity stunt initiated by the Roshans before the release of the film, so that it draws in more box office moolah. Others say, there is something real between the two, as Sussane Roshan's row and the couple's shifting residence away from Papa Rakesh Roshan indicate! After all, there cannot be smoke without fire! Bollywood to see more of Barbara Mori in days to come
Barbara Mori has created stirs in our tinsel town, not only with her stunning looks and sensuous performance in the forthcoming ‘Kites’, but also due to her alleged linkup with co-star Hrithik Roshan. But, even as her debut venture in Bollywood is yet to hit the screens, the sensational foreign beauty has been offered another plum role here.
Even as her much anticipated ‘Kites’ is yet to release, foreign sensation Barbara Mori has bagged yet another prestigious Bollywood offer. As such, the beauty will be coming to India once again in January for the shoot of her next flick.
Barbara Mori is much impressed by India and Bollywood, of course, and says, “I’ve another film in India to be shot in January. I can’t talk about it right now, but I can tell you it’s a big film. I’d love to do many films in India.”
“I love all the Indian people. They’re so lovely. They make me feel so much at home. In Bollywood, Susanne wanted me to meet every friend of hers. So she took me to a lot of places. We went partying all night at Shah Rukh Khan’s home. I met many actors and actresses but I can’t remember their names. They are all so warm,” she adds.
Talking about ‘Kites’, Barbara said, “I’m not nervous. I’m excited. ‘Kites’ is my first film for this part of the world. I had never watched Bollywood films before ‘Kites’. But after I realised I’d be part of ‘Kites’ I really enjoyed watching some Bollywood films. I loved Hrithik’s film ‘Lakshya’.”
Hmm… the actress also has a lot to say about her co-star. She is all praises for him and says, “I feel there’s a very special chemistry with him. I’ve done a lot of movies with many other actors but nothing like Hrithik.”

A love story that crosses borders and linguistic barriers, Kites is a tale of romance between an Indian guy and a Mexican beauty.Starring Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori in lead roles, the movie is directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Rakesh Roshan .
Kites is about an Indian boy’s romantic affair with a Latino girl and their predicament as they do not understand each other’s language.
Hrithik plays a salsa teacher in "Kites". Kangana plays a very rich girl and is shown as Hrithik’s dance student. The story is set in Las Vegas. In the course of learning Salsa from him, she falls madly in love with him. But then a twist in the tale takes place and the romantic story takes a thriller turn.
Barbara Mori plays a Spanish girl who speaks only in Spanish which Hrithik can’t speak a word of. So he speaks to her in Hindi and yet the two communicate and fall madly in love. But then something happens that forces the two to split and that’s where Kangana steps in.
The film has some breath-taking dances from Hrithik, Barbara and Kangana. The choreography in these songs is by Flexy Stu, a renowned American choreographer. For one song shot in Mumbai, Farah Khan did the choreography.
